Bespoke Modular Game Larders

"Andy Tarrant installed a game larder in a day! This is the first stage in upgrading our game handling facilities"

Self Assemble Larders

"I have just purchased a Tarrant Refrigeration Gamelarder having seen the new small room offered at the Gamefair. I have to say I couldn't find anything more reasonably priced, or a more efficient service.
Ordering to installation time was extremely quick, and a minor problem was resolved the next day. The room is ideal for the corner of a garage, and perfect for the hobby/part-time professional"

Services

From initial site survey to installation, commissioning and servicing we undertake all aspects and do not use other contractors. Additionally we are very happy to discuss your needs from small scale meat cold rooms to even the installation of a wine cellar!

Our range of game larders from self assemble to our bespoke and commercial ranges allows us to offer you what you need to comply with the FSA Game Meat Regulations.

How we work

We offer a personal service so that we get know what your requirements and needs are. Once we have had an initial discussion with you over the phone or face to face we will then be able to recommend the best option to meet your needs.

If you are buying a self assemble game larder we will...

  • Arrange despatch of a self assemble game larder as required including hanging rails or a racking system once we are satisfied that we have met your requirements

OR we will...

  • Visit you to understand your needs
  • Recommend the best options for you - our modular system is highly flexible with all panels being of "food safe" grade
  • Produce a plan which will include chilling "capacity" times (i.e. how quickly we can chill your game)
  • Undertake installation and commission your game larder
  • Service your game larder on an annual basis

Key questions you need to consider in choosing a game larder:

  • What is your biggest day?
  • What is your average bag?
  • How many deer do you shoot on the day?
  • How many deer do you want to be able to store at any one time?
  • How many days do you shoot a year?
  • How often does your game dealer visit you?
  • Do you want it sited outside or inside (recommended)?

We can site a game larder outside but it is preferable if it has a roof structure over it especially the loading area thus preventing the game from getting wet.
